United Magnetic came together as a concept idea inspired by some of the past members of the original Machine Builders Syndicate and myself (Timothy Kidd, Boda, Ben Gun). We wanted to have something similar in the industry today that would bring quality builders together to share passions and skills with each other and also to challenge one another to innovate the field, so we began to reach out to builders we knew. We wanted something that was based off of quality first, brotherhood and respect for the trade and industry, something that every builder could be proud to be apart of and represent. The hope is to bring builders together, help promote and distribute, and to enjoy build offs, convention presence, and occasional Outfit Barbeques. United Magnetic is not a company but more of an Outfit or fraternity with support of all its members from all of its members.
Another cause of United Magnetic is to bring together industry knowledge, photos, art, trade secrets and great old time stories in hopes to preserve them for the future generations of the trade. Also we plan to bring an occaisional Tattoo Machine Build Off competition to the trade. This is not only to motivate and challenge modern builders but also to push the limits and innovate the standard, and of course have a great time together. As well as entertain those who share the same interest and excitement for tattoo machines.
United Magnetic is now currently comprised of:
Ahren Bloomquist , Boda, Ben Gun, Cory Lenher, Carl Brennalt, Josh Ford, Robie Sayan,
Timothy Kidd, Steve Turner, Damon Burns
United Magnetic will be a great thing for all those involved and exposed. I myself am very excited to see what will become of it, and how it will transform the industry. Stay tuned and thank you for all your support.
Respect the trade!
